NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 199 – NOVEMBER 17, 2:00 PM
Notice of public hearing and intent to adopt is hereby given for Ordinance 199 on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting at 2:00 pm, City Hall, 103 Water Street, Elephant Butte. Ordinance 199 is an ordinance vacating Wood Street pursuant to NMSA 1978, Section 67-2-7, following receipt of a petition for determination of vacation as the roadway is no longer needed for public purposes.
ELECTIONS, NOVEMBER 2, 2021 – VOTER INFORMATION
Elephant Butte Elections will be held on November 2, 2021.
Important Dates
October 5 – Absentee ballots may be cast. They can be dropped off in the dropbox at City Hall, 103 Water St.
October 5 – Early in-person voting begins at the Sierra County Clerk’s Office, 100 N. Date St., Suite 6. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 8 am – 5 pm until October 29th. Then for the last day of early voting on Saturday, October 30, 10 am – 6 pm.
October 28 – Last day to request an absentee ballot.
October 30 – Early voting ends.
November 2 – Voting Day, Sierra County Clerk’s Office, 100 N. Date St., Suite 6, 7 am – 7 pm.
Elephant Butte Community Center, 313 Rio Grande Circle, 7 am – 7 pm.
