NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2:00pm, In Council Chambers at 103 Water Street, Elephant Butte, NM  87935.  The purpose of the hearing shall be to consider approval of Transfer of Ownership for an Inter Local Dispenser Liquor License for Sierra Del Rio Golf Course;  located at 101 Clubhouse Drive, Elephant Butte, New Mexico.

Please contact the City Clerk at 575-744-4982 X100 with questions or at least 48 hours in advance of the public hearing should you require special accommodations.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Sierra County Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements will be received by City of Elephant Butte, at the office of the City Council Chambers, 103 Water Street, City of Elephant Butte, New Mexico, until 2:00 p.m. local time on August 17, 2017, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of improvements to the WWTP including replacement of the fine air diffusers, new blowers, new effluent outfall and new valve vault.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Bohannan Huston, Inc. located at 425 S. Telshor Blvd., Suite C103, Las Cruces, NM 88011, telephone 575-532-8670. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office between the hours of Monday – Thursday 7:30 to 5:30 and Friday 7:30 to 11:30, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
For bidding forms, and Contract Documents, including plans, specifications, and other documents to be used in connection with the submission of bids, prospective Bidders are invited to register under the “BHITracker” web portal link located at www.bhinc.com to obtain access to the “Bids” section for distribution of bid documents electronically. Select the pertinent project as listed on the projects list. Register new company account by providing the following contact information: Company name, contact name, company role, telephone number and email address. The Bidder shall receive a notification email once the bidder has been registered with the site. Each registered bidder will be able to re-access the site from www.bhinc.com and selecting the “BHI Tracker/Bids” icon which will direct the Bidder to the BHI Tracker bid document distribution site. The Bidder shall have a specific usemame and password in order to gain access to the ”CEB WWTP Improvements” project. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
If you do not or cannot access the site, please notify us as soon as possible. The following shall be performed through the BHI Tracker site.

Ordinance #164: ENACTING A WATER AND SEWER RATE SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 51.30 AND CHAPTER 52.30 FEE REQUIREMENTS.  THIS ORDINANCE REPEALS AND REPLACES WATER AND SEWER RATES IN RESOLUTION NO. 13-14-319.

This ordinance is commonly referred to as the “Utility Rate” ordinance.  Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for public inspection at City Hall during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
