The Public Works Department oversees development and maintenance of the City’s infrastructure, vehicles, and specialized services. Specifically, the Public Works Director oversees the following departments:
- Maintenance
- Recreation
- Streets
- Water
- Wastewater
The Public Works Department always has staff on-call to respond to water/wastewater line breaks or critical infrastructure issues. Please call Sierra County Dispatch at 575-894-7111 if an issue arises outside of regular office hours.
