Notice is hereby given that the legal property owner has applied for a variance/encroachment request that will be presented for Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 10:00am at a regular meeting of the Elephant Butte Zoning Commission, City Hall, 103 Water Ave., Elephant Butte, New Mexico 87935.
This variance request is for a reduced front setback. Code requires a 20’ front setback from the property
line. The pre-existing dwelling is currently 23’ from the property line. The request includes the
development of an 8’x30’ porch along the front of the home, reducing the front setback from 23’ to 15’.
