Notice is hereby given that the City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2:00pm at City Hall, 103 Water Street. The purpose of this hearing shall be to consider adoption of ORDINANCE #162, AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE NEW MEXICO UNIFORM TRAFFIC ORDINANCE BY REFERENCE.
Ordinance #162 adopts the 2016 amendments to the Uniform Traffic Ordinance and ratifies all amendments adopted through July 1, 2016 in their entirety. The 2016 amendments include changes to the operation of Off-Highway Motor Vehicles and ATV’s.
Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for public inspection at City Hall during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
