Notice is hereby given that James Wright and Patricia Oliver Wright have applied for a development variance/encroachment that will be presented for Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024, at 2:00pm at a regular meeting of the Elephant Butte City Council, City Hall, 103 Water Ave., Elephant Butte, New Mexico 87935.


James Wright & Patricia Oliver Wright are seeking a development variance to develop an enclosed carport 5’ from the pre-existing main use dwelling. Code Reference: 155.026 (D) 2 b: Accessory buildings shall be no less than ten feet from main use or structure and in conformance with the front setback.
